Though I admit that I'm a little frightened at the idea myself, I know I can do it if you will all get behind me! I'm looking for your help; I have this idea of trying to raise at least $100,000 for the Youth of New Castle, IN so that we can build a skate park. Why a skate park? It's simple really, skateboarding and BMX riding are extremely popular in New Castle and there are youth in this area with incredible talent with nowhere to develop it. The result is many teenagers being ran off of properties and sometimes even arrested simply for trying to find a place where they can practice this sport that they love so much.
In return for my incredible hard work I'm asking for donations which would go towards the goal of raising $100,000. We're asking for a suggested donation of $100 for individuals and $500 for businesses. Think about it, even if we had no corporate sponsors, we could reach this goal if only 1,000 people could give $100! I'd really appreciate your help in doing something incredibly special for the youth of New Castle! They would appreciate it as well, just watch the video at the top of the page and they'll tell you themselves!

I can’t tell you how exciting this is and how much work has gone into this amazing project! It all started with Anton and his willingness to put his body on the line in order to draw attention to the youth of New Castle Indiana and though that 3-day run ended almost a year ago, we’re still feeling the aftershock. We at Agee Design have been working tirelessly with Anton to put together Running For Something the documentary, a film that tells the story of the kids and the run. The project hasn’t been without its ups and downs, but we’ve almost crossed the finish line by completing the first draft edit!

What does this mean? It means we’ve put together a completed rough draft of the film and only minor changes are needed. We’re literally 99% of the way done. We have a couple of minor improvements we’re planning to make and then we’ll be ready to release the film. The plan as of now is to release the movie online for free and accept donations, all proceeds going to the New Castle skatepark project. There may be other methods of distribution, we’re still talking about the options.
We’d like to send a special thanks out to those who have given their time and talent to this project, most especially Mitchell Agee at Agee Design who has done most of the editing of the film. More to come soon!

Greetings everyone, hope you’ve all been doing well! It seems like forever ago since October when the Running For Something event took place, but rest assured that lots of hard work has been going on with the Running For Something documentary production team! We’ve been hard at work organizing our footage from the shoot, cataloging and organizing almost 1TB of footage (that’s over 1,000 gigabytes). We hit a minor roadblock in the process of getting the film produced and edited but we’re now back on track and very excited about this film. It’s our hope that it’ll truly inspire people to help New Castle and their own communities to be supportive of the skateboarding and BMX-riding youth of their area.
We’ll keep you posted with updates and possibly even pieces of the film as it comes together. We’re working hard for you guys and we trust that it’s all going to pay off in the end.

Hey everyone I wanted to leave a message to tell everyone I lived through the run and was blessed beyond measures! I physically thought I was dying, I mentally thought I was dying, but the spirit was the one that pushed me through. When I got up on Sunday morning to go out for the last day of running I couldn’t even walk so I had no idea how I was suppose to run but as I started wobbling my legs found a way to to hit a slow stride but with every hit of the ground my legs felt like they were coming apart. I have never hurt so bad in my life but as I drew closer to New Castle I grew stronger because I knew the kids I was doing all this for were waiting for me and I just wanted to get to them to show them that I loved them so much! As i got closer to the park where the BMX/Skater appreciation event and finish line was, some of the kids came out on their skate boards and bikes and finished with me and my heart was filled with joy. I then stopped to gather myself as I went to walk over and greet some of the kids and families that had came out I was told to come over to a chair where my great friends Dr. Strong, his wife, and Melissa Espiritu started post run therapy. I was so grateful for there love and support they truly helped me recover so much faster. I was only able to chat with the friends and family that came out for 45min or so while being treated in the chair because the Doc said I needed an I.V to get me rehydrated. Since he is much smarter than me I decided I would listen to his advice and go get the I.V, so we left went to his house and got that taken care of. As soon as I was able we returned to the Park to hang out with those that were still around, many of the kids were still there and that was great but I did miss some of the families so I was bummed about that. We hung out there for a couple of hours and had a great time and I had a chance to talk to a lot of the kids and just tell them I loved them and that we will try everything we can to help them have a place to express their passion. All and All day three was the hardest and one of the greatest days I have ever had! Now remember this wasn’t and still isn’t about a run, its about these kids so continue to send everyone you know to www.runningforsomething.com and have them support these kids!

What an amazing day… A truly blessed day. Anton woke up this morning feeling sore, but much better than expected. He set out from day 1’s finish line for his 30-mile journey to just outside Greens Fork Indiana, a small town on state road 38 and just over 6 hours later he made it.
Folks that means tomorrow he has around 16 miles to run and he’ll be arriving at Baker Park in New Castle Indiana. Please show up to show your support, this many has truly given everything he has and then some for the youth of New Castle and he deserves an overwhelming reception tomorrow.
We’ll see you there at 1:00!
